WRESTLEMANIA 41: BECKY LYNCH'S RETURN BUZZES AFTER LATEST TWIST; WWE ACQUIRES LUCHA LIBRE AAA

WWE WrestleMania 41: The Night 1 of WWE WrestleMania 41 lived up to its expectations as three titles were exchanged, while one was retained. The show ended on a shocking note, left fans puzzled by giving birth to an intriguing storyline involving Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins.

While these developments took place on the show, plenty happened outside as WWE announced the acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, a wrestling promotion based in Mexico. But before we move into the details, there were other developments, which left the fans guessing.

One of them was Becky Lynch's much anticipated return, which kept buzzing online. The speculations only rife further after WWE made a late twist in the women's tag team match involving Lyra Valkyria, Bayley against the reigning champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

Ahead of Night 1 of WrestleMania 41, WWE released a video of Bayley in pain after being ambushed backstage, forcing her exit from the pay-per-view event. Despite the development, WWE declared the match will take place as announced and Valkyria will have to look for a new partner in less than 24 hours.

This, however, left a section of fans upset, who labelled Bayley's injury part of a storyline and with Becky Lynch currently in Las Vegas, the venue of WrestleMania 41, many even tried connecting the dots.

The return is not official yet but WrestleMania - the grandest party of WWE - is certainly the place to do it.

WWE acquires Lucha Libre AAA

WWE announced the acquisition of AAA hours before the "Show of the Immortals" kicked-off at Las Vegas. The announcement was made in the presence of Paul “Triple H” Levesque - WWE Chief Content Officer and Michael Cole, who were joined by AAA owners Marisela Pena and Dorian Roldan, along with Legado del Fantasma, Stephanie Vaquer, the LWO, Rey Fenix, Penta, and El Hijo del Vikingo (one of the most popular AAA wrestler).

WWE also announced a Worlds Collide event between WWE NXT and AAA, which will take place at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California on June 7. This is the first time an event of this magnitude will be held after AAA-WCW partnered for When Worlds Collide event in 1994. WWE's previous partnership with AAA had seen quite a few luchadors taking part in the 1997 Royal Rumble in San Antonio, Texas.
