Friday OTT Releases (September 20): This Friday, there is a list of movies and web series that you can stream on OTT platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+Hotstar, JioCinema and more. Chiyaan Vikram-starrer Tamil movie Thangalaan which hit the theatres on August 15, this year, will be available on OTT from September 20. Set against the backdrop of the British Raj era, the story follows a fearless tribal leader who embarks on a perilous quest to thwart an alleged sorceress, after incurring her wrath for aiding a British general in uncovering gold in their village.

The movie raked in mixed reviews from fans and critics alike post its release. It even received criticisms for the historical inaccuracies, visual effects, screenplay and writing. Thangalaan failed to perform well at the box office. Despite its poor box office performance, the audience awaits its OTT release.
