UNDERTAKER HIGHLIGHTS THE MOST CHALLENGING PART FOR TODAY’S WWE SUPERSTARS

WWE Hall of Famer and one of the most legendary characters to have graced the WWE ring, The Undertaker has opened up about the difficulties and challenges faced by current WWE wrestlers, in terms of character development and audience Perception. “The Phenom” keeps sharing his opinions on different topics around Pro wrestling and WWE. on his YouTube channel ‘Six Feet Under With Mark Callaway. Recently too, he was heard sharing his opinion about Gunther facing challenges regarding his character.

The Dead Man Shares the Challenges

Although The Deadman was full of praise for Gunther and his work ethics that have made him the World Heavyweight Champion in WWE, he is concerned about Gunther’s character development as a heel. Whether the audience are going to accept him as a villain for the long run, is questionable according to Undertaker. The evident affection that the crowd is showing towards the ‘Ring General’ is bothering Undertaker. Therefore, he is of the opinion that the growing appreciation that Gunther receives from the fans across the world is going to make it difficult for the superstar to maintain his Heel persona.

“Heel Aur Baby faces these days, it's a really fine line”, exclaimed the Dead Man while elaborating the challenge a current WWE superstar faces. Continuing on the topic, Taker said, “That's why people like Dom, that's why he is such an anomaly, because he is a hundred percent across the board Heel”. The “Demon of Death Valley” is not wrong here as Dominik Mysterio is the most hated character going on currently in the WWE. It is always evident because of the constant Boo’s that “Dirty Dom” receives whenever he makes his entrance to the ring.

Sharing his opinion about the current World Heavyweight Champion, Undertaker said “Gunther on the other hand, is a tough guy and carries himself in a manner, right, so it’s going to be challenging to keep him a heel”. The challenge that Gunther will face going ahead is to keep his heel character intact and keep getting heat from the audience. While the Undertaker might not consider him as the best heel right now, Gunther is enjoying the peak of his career, as after a record breaking reign as the Intercontinental Champion, The Ring general has now become the World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam, and would love to prolong this title reign for as long as possible.
