AFTER 'KANGUVA' BOBBY DEOL TO PLAY THE VILLAIN IN 'THALAPATHY 69'

Actor Vijay after the success of 'GOAT' aka 'Greatest of All Time' has signed up for his next film with director H Vinoth. The official announcement was made on Saturday and Anirudh Ravichander is said to compose the music for the film. Now, the new buzz is that Bobby Deol, who is making his debut with Suriya's 'Kanguva' will be playing the lead antagonist in Vijay's next.

A report in Deccan Herald stated that Bobby Deol has been roped in and finalised to play the villain in Vijay's actioner. It is likely that Vijay's film will be released pan India and the movie will have an ensemble cast to attract both South and North Indian audiences. The reports suggested that Bobby Deol will be playing a fearsome villain and the movie will focus on Vijay and Bobby Deol's show down.

'Thalapathy 69' marks Vijay's last film in his acting career. The actor has decided to quit from the entertainment industry and will be stepping into the shoes of a political leader. Announcing his party 'Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam', the actor will be contesting the 2026 Tamil Nadu state assembly elections.

Meanwhile, 'Bobby Deol' who was last seen in 'Animal' is awaiting the release of his film 'Kanguva'. Directed by Siva, the film stars Suriya, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam and Bobby Deol in lead roles. It was set for its release in theatres on October 10, but as it was clashing at the box office with Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan', the makers have decided to postpone the release and the new date is yet to be announced.

Apart from this, Bobby Deol has multiple movies lined up in Telugu that includes 'NBK 109', 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu', and 'Devara Part 2' which are in different stages of production.
