VAANI KAPOOR RELIVES CHILDHOOD MEMORIES, SAYS ‘ADULTING IS CANCELLED’
Vaani Kapoor recently won hearts with her performance in the thriller film, Raid 2. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, it also featured Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles and was declared a hit. As the actress begins work on her next project, she recently took a day off and relived her childhood memories by spending some fun moments with her friend riding a swing and a seesaw.
The post begins with a picture of Vaani holding onto a rope climbing a structure in an outdoor setting, seemingly in a park. She is smiling widely and looking upward, appearing carefree and happy. In the next one, the actress is seen sitting on a swing outdoors and exuding her adorable smile. The last picture, on the other hand, depicted Vaani riding a seesaw with one of her friends.
The Befikre actress wore a white sleeveless top paired with black pants. Sharing the snapshots, she wrote in the caption, “Adulting is cancelled. Welcome to recess.”
In no time, the comment section was flooded with reactions from fans and celebs alike. Actress Raashii Khanna commented, “Cutie.” “So beautiful,” wrote another user. One of them shared, “Why is she so cute?”
On the work front, Vaani’s recent release, Raid 2, created a storm at the box office with a lifetime collection of more than Rs 170 crore at the domestic box office.
The film marks the return of Ajay Devgn as the honest IRS Officer Amahy Patnaik as he investigates tax fraud and corruption, specifically targeting a powerful and wealthy individual named Manohar Dhankar (played by Riteish Deshmukh). Vaani, on the other hand, has replaced actress Illeana D’Cruz in the sequel and played Patnaik’s wife.
She will soon be making her web series debut with the upcoming show, Mandala Murders. Backed by Yash Raj Films and directed by Gopi Puthran, the show is expected to arrive on Netflix later this year. An official release date is yet to be announced. It also features Suvreen Chawla in a significant role. Apart from this, Vaani also has a romantic drama, Sarvgunn Sampann with Ishwak Singh in her kitty.
