JACKSON WANG BREAKS SILENCE ON KRRISH 4 ROLE: 'IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO DO IT'

Amid widespread speculation and fan buzz, Chinese singer-rapper and global sensation Jackson Wang has firmly denied any involvement in the upcoming Bollywood film Krrish 4. In a candid video interview shared by the Press Trust of India (PTI), the GOT7 star addressed the viral rumours, calling them “fake news” and clarifying the context behind the misinformation.

“It’s fake news. It’s a big movie, so I’ve never acted before, so it’s impossible for me (to do it),” Jackson said, laughing off the claims. “This is a joke between him and me. So, it was just entertaining news,” he added, referring to the unnamed friend who sparked the speculation.

The buzz around Wang’s possible Bollywood debut began circulating on social media after unverified reports hinted that the Blow singer would be making a cameo or playing a role in Krrish 4, the latest instalment in the popular superhero franchise led by Hrithik Roshan. The idea of a crossover between a K-pop icon and Bollywood’s beloved superhero thrilled fans, leading to a wave of fan edits and excitement online.

Previously, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Jackson confirmed that Hrithik was indeed working on Krrish 4, though the film hasn’t entered production yet. Playfully addressing the rumours, he joked, “I’m in it. I’m the new Krrish. I’m just kidding. I’m sorry, I’m an extrovert—please accept that. I like to mix sh*t up. Maybe I’m gonna tell him tonight.”

Jackson Wang was recently in India to promote his album and received a warm welcome from Hrithik Roshan and his family. Veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan shared a heartfelt moment from their gathering by posting a photo on Instagram, featuring the entire Roshan family posing with the global K-pop star. “Jackson welcome & God bless!” he captioned the image. A member of the popular K-pop group GOT7, Jackson Wang is also a successful solo artist, known for hits like 100 Ways and Blow.
