RAID 2 SONG TUMHE DILLAGI: 'RUINED MASTERPIECE', NETIZENS REACT TO AJAY DEVGN'S RECREATED NUSRAT FATEH ALI KHAN TRACK
Raid 2, starring Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh, is one of the most highly anticipated films of May 2025. The sequel to the 2019 film Raid will be released in theatres on May 1. Ahead of its theatrical release, the makers released a new song, Tumhe Dillagi, picturised on Ajay and his co-star Vaani Kapoor. Sung by Jubin Nautiyal, it is the recreated version of Pakistani singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's classic melody. After the song was released online, netizens criticised the recreated version and felt 'another masterpiece' had been 'ruined'.

Tumhe Dillagi is set against the backdrop of festive celebration, highlighting a growing connection between Ajay and Vaani's characters. The lyrics of this track are penned by Manoj Muntashir, and Purnam Allahbadi. On the other hand, Rochak Kohli has composed the track. Sharing the song on YouTube, T-Series penned, "Presenting the Most Popular Classic Hit “Tumhe Dillagi” from the Film RAID2. Starring The Eternal Fan Favorite AjayDevgn with VaaniKapoor (sic)."
However, netizens aren't pleased with the recreated version of Tumhe Dillagi. On YouTube, one netizen wrote, "Successfully runined another masterpiece No one can beat RAHAT FATEH ALI KHAN nd Nusrat Fateh (sic)." Another user added, "No can beat Ustaad nusrat fateh ali khan sahab (sic)." Take a look at the comments below:

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 marks Ajay's return as IRS officer Amay Patnaik. In the sequel, his character will be seen conducting his 75th raid on Riteish Deshmukh's character Dada Bhai. Also starring Vaani, Saurabh Shukla, and others, the action thriller will clash with Sanjay Dutt's The Bhootnii at the box office.
