John Cena talks about his farewell tour during the WWE Money in the Bank post show

During the post show, Cena tried to answer as many questions as he could, and out of those one was about what he wanted to accomplish before he hung up his boots. Here’s what he had to say:

"Just to let everyone know how appreciative I am," he replied. "I guess that is my 'why' for doing this: how grateful I am to do this for as long, at the capacity I have. I was not kidding when I said tonight I was grateful to play in the house everybody built. That is all I'm doing. There were many before me, there will be many after. I guess what I have left to do is say my thank yous before that chapter closes."

Cena has been one of the most loved wrestlers in the company and in the industry. Ever since he’s joined the WWE, Cena has maintained his babyface character, and has had an uncanny way to connect with the audience.

Over the years, he’s provided his fans with some incredible matches, be it the first “I Quit” match against JBL, or the bouts against Brock Lesnar or Big Show. And at this point, it’s safe to say that John Cena is one of the many reasons why WWE is so popular globally at this point. It will be interesting to see how his farewell tour pans out for him.
