JAVED JAFFREY CALLS HIS PERFORMANCES IN AAMIR KHAN'S 'JAWAANI ZINDABAD' AND SHAH RUKH KHAN'S 'OH DARLING YEH HAI INDIA' UNDERRATED

Actor Javed Jaffrey recently reminisced about some of his most underrated work in a recent interview. Reflecting on his career, Javed mentioned the song ‘Jawaani Zindabad’ from the film featuring Aamir Khan and highlighted another lesser-known performance in ‘Oh Darling Yeh Hai India’ starring Shah Rukh Khan.

In a chat with India Today, Javed Jaffrey shared about the song ‘Jawaani Zindabad,’ which he feels was one of the most underrated in his career. Despite its grand production and choreography by Saroj Khan, featuring 50 to 100 dancers, Javed believes the song didn't receive the recognition it deserved.

Javed further reflected on another underrated performance. It is a song from the film ‘Oh Darling Yeh Hai India,’ which featured Shah Rukh Khan and was directed by Ketan Mehta. Composed by Shankar Mahadevan, the song had a distinct mafia-like vibe. Javed expressed his enjoyment of the song's unique style and execution.

He described the song ‘Pehla Pehla Pyaar Hai’ from the film ‘Woh Phir Aayegi’ as a groundbreaking moment in his career.
