CONFIRMED! SALMAN KHAN AS CHULBUL PANDEY IN SINGHAM AGAIN
Rohit Shetty's Singham Again has been making headlines for quite a while now. Reports of Salman Khan making a cameo in the Ajay Devgn starrer have been grabbing a fair share of attention, especially after a picture of Ajay and Salman in their cop avatars went viral on X (formerly known as Twitter). Now, we at Zoom are exclusively confirming that Salman Khan will indeed make a special appearance as his iconic cop character, Chulbul Pandey from Dabangg. We have it from a top source who says that Rohit Shetty convinced Salman, who in turn, readily shot for it without asking any questions.
From Salman Khan appearing as Tiger in Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan to Varun Dhawan as Bhediya coming to save Shraddha Kapoor in Stree, actors making crossovers with their popular characters has become a trend in the industry. We can now confirm that Salman will reprise his Dabangg role in the third installment of the Singham franchise.
Salman isn't the only star rumoured to make an appearance. There have also been whispers about Baahubali actor Prabhas making a cameo in Rohit Shetty's cop universe. However, no official confirmation has been made on this front yet.
Singham Again is set to hit theaters this Diwali. Earlier, we at Zoom exclusively reported that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 actor Kartik Aaryan had requested Rohit Shetty to postpone the release to avoid a clash, as BB3 is also scheduled for the Diwali release. However, the latest update confirms that Singham Again will be released during the festive season.
